Cowtown
HRC's goal
is to work, individually and together, to promote and support the betterment of
all retriever breeds. Through training and testing our retrievers in hunting
environments, we prove our dogs to the achievement of titles offered by
HRC. Founded in
1996, Cowtown HRC proudly encourages and supports waterfowl and upland hunters
in teaching and preparing their dogs to be the best they can - in hunting and hunt test venues. If you'd like to have a more prepared hunting companion in
your dog or you haven't experienced seeing well trained retrievers, we invite
you to contact us.
We invite
you to visit the areas of our site to learn more about us, our events, our dogs
and other items of interest to Cowtown HRC. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions and, if you're interested in becoming a
part of the Great Tradition, visit our Membership area to learn more.
Cowtown Club News:
Wow,
what a month February has been! First Evan Graham's seminar ... then our Upland
Hunt Test. Cowtowners have been busy busy!
Our dogs are now out in full force running
hunt tests. Make sure to wag your hands and tails at the meetings - or via email
- and let us know how you guys are doing! We'll be increasing the frequency of
our training as we can to help our members and their dogs get and be ready for
the hunt test season. With all the hunts around us on weekends, training days
will be limited so grab a training partner or partners in the club and get out
there with your dog!
Time to start gearing up for what all is
"next" ... we've got plenty coming up so stay tuned!
Our Second Annual Cowtown Dog Rodeo will be held in October, 2008.
Definitely something to look forward to and you might just be training one of
2008's Cowtown Dogs of the Year.
