Cowtown
HRC's goal
is to work, individually and together, to promote and support the betterment of
all retriever breeds. Through training and testing our retrievers in hunting
environments, we prove our dogs to the achievement of titles offered by
HRC. Founded in
1996, Cowtown HRC proudly encourages and supports waterfowl and upland hunters
in teaching and preparing their dogs to be the best they can - in hunting and hunt test venues. If you'd like to have a more prepared hunting companion in
your dog or you haven't experienced seeing well trained retrievers, we invite
you to contact us.
We invite
you to visit the areas of our site to learn more about us, our events, our dogs
and other items of interest to Cowtown HRC. Don't hesitate to
contact us
if you have any questions and, if you're interested in becoming a
part of the Great Tradition, visit our

Cowtown Club News:
Congratulations to our new club
officers: Mike Fisher, President; Russ Morgan, Vice-President; Ben Strebeck,
Secretary; and, Cindy Vinzant, Treasurer. Thanks to all who showed up for the
meeting in January to support the club via participating in the elections,
welcoming in the new officers and thanking those who've served!
We're
gearing up for our Spring, 2009 hunt test to be held in Fairfield, TX on
February 21st and 22nd. We implore everyone who can attend the next scheduled meeting as it's
our last chance to coordinate the event "indoors".
Make sure to wag your hands
and tails at the meetings - or via email - and let us know how you guys are
doing! We'll be increasing the frequency of our training as we can to help our
members and their dogs get and be ready for the hunt test season. With all the
hunts around us on weekends, training days will be limited so grab a training
partner or partners in the club and get out there with your dog!
